Covid test

I woke up with a sore throat and a sniffly nose this morning, so did the right thing and had a test. Of course, that means isolating until I get the result, hopefully tomorrow morning. We had to ask a friend to collect a packet of coffee for us. Isolating is bad enough, but isolating without coffee would be even worse.

We ordered a Tui bird feeder, which arrived on Sunday. Hubby installed it yesterday and we were quite excited when a Tui alighted briefly and took a sip of the sugar syrup but he hasn’t been back since …… patience is called for.

There are 98 new community cases today - 74 in Auckland, 10 in the Waikato, 8 in the Bay of Plenty, 1 in Taranaki and 5 in Nelson-Marlborough.
