In the Frame

I have passed this window and blip-banked it so often that I was relieved it has made it into the limelight at long last today, mainly because there was nothing else forthcoming on a day when the continuing chill and dullness sapped any creative energy.

The Easter visitors to Edinburgh in their fur lined boots, are swathed in layers of anoraks, scarves, and warm hats. I feel sorry for them as they stravaig around this grey city dragging reluctant children behind them in search of a warm cafe to thaw out.

His Lordship has decided to inject a bit of spring into the Dower House by investing in so many bunches of flowers that it is beginning to resemble a funeral parlour . We have roses, carnations and narcissi gracing every available surface. Nevertheless they do bring some colour indoors when all outside is grey.
