Over the Rooftops

From our top floor front.
Heavy rain. Heavy wind. Storm Barra. Wind gusts as much as 68 mph.
If I had stood where I normally take the head of the loch shot the waves would have been going right over my head and hitting the Esplanade.
Overtopping in the park too, and the harbour had waves just washing over the head of the old quay.
Fergus and I walked along the more sheltered side of the streets and just wandered down to the park at one point so we could see what was going on.

Added: The Esplanade and Kinloch Street were closed due to the sea coming over onto the roads and the risk of flooding.
