Not going out!

With Storm Barra on the horizon we decided we were staying indoors today and, indeed, it has been a day of gloom.  I briefly emerged to top up the bird feeders and retrieve the newly emptied bin in case it blew away, then I've settled in to practise my recorder and learn some more Czech.  I do hope the folks in the North East have escaped the worst of the storm this time around.

Late afternoon and suddenly the living room was bathed in light and, as the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky cleared and was briefly glorious.
