Red sky in the morning

When we started our early walk this morning the light was just showing on the horizon, which developed into a beautiful red sky that didn't last for long. It was cold and icy with a biting wind and as we arrived back home the rain started and the wind picked up. Through the middle of the day the rain was driven against the back of the house by a gale force wind. I decided to postpone my trip to Harrogate until Friday when the weather is forecast to be better, instead printing my Christmas cards and studying some music theory (a benefit of winter days.)
