Horse Poo Collection!

This morning I drove to the other end of the village to a house which has a couple of fields attached where they keep horses I had been offered as much horse manure as I'd like to dig out of their pile, so I did! I filled the car up (rear seats down flat), taking care to lay down plastic sheets as there would inevitably be leakages from the bags. It's good stuff - well rotted, not too much straw and a good worm population There'll be some good-sized vegetables next year (I hope)!
