Christmas Gifts

The commercial festival that we call "Christmas" no longer really has anything to do with the christian narrative, which is fair enough given that the origins of Christmas stretch back thousands of years to prehistoric celebrations around the midwinter solstice, and the Christians hijacked the whole thing in the 9th century or so.

But this simple text gives much comfort at a Christmas still filled with uncertainty, confusion, anger and sadness and with an unclear future ahead for next year. I love it. Created by a genius.
