Other than the lovely nurses at PRI Gynae clinic who work so hard to take one's mind off the below the waist rummaging by the impossibly young and tremendously kind female gynaecologist, the next best thing is the cuppa and digestives they bring when the procedure is over and one's dignity has been restored.   Very welcome indeed :-)

Blue skies and sunshine when I arrived, pouring rain when I left.  Got soaked getting to the car even though David brought it as close to the door as possible.  Home for a late lunch, feet up and trying to get through a load of small crochet projects in time for Christmas.

Received an invitation from our friends Alan and Gail inviting us to theirs for dinner on 28th December.  Weather permitting, that will be a lovely evening.

Jordan finished putting Alan's decs up and D has made a start on the rest of the house. Tree arriving tomorrow.  It's beginning to feel festive :-))
