Signs of Christmas

Back Black Blip from Akaroa

My orange/red Pohutukawa is starting to come into full flower in Akaroa and it is so lovely to see. And the native birds love the flowers too.

Sure been a hot, muggy day without much sunshine. By early afternoon to had reached 32 at my place and it was just too hot to do any more gardening. So pleased I got the lawns mowed in the morning. It was still around the 30 by early evening.
