Lichthart

A section of the forest we often go through is named "Lichthart" which as a name is very rare, only 1 telephone book entry in Germany. Google says there was a 17C Dutch admiral with the name. Will have to ask our forester if he knows the origin. The two parts of the word mean "Light" & "Hard". Perhaps could, with a bit of atistic licence, be translated as light resisant, something we arehaving to get used to with this weather.
