It's Christmas and Its Time for Mince Pies
Inspired by the Guardian's taste tested review of all the UK supermarket mince pies I decided it was probably time to use the mincemeat I bought before last Christmas and forgot to use. So I made the pastry and used the jar! They tasted pretty good, though Leyna said she thought there was a faint fermented taste - probably true given the fact the jar was over a year old. Otherwise shared these with Daniel over a pot of tea and then watched a couple of episodes of Hanna.
