Emergency poinsettia

Busy day at the (home) office, with a range of conversations, meetings and emails that kept me distracted from the gloom and sleet outside. A brief foray out to a farewell do for GD. Managed to chat to a couple of people that I needed to there - just the sort of quick resolution of issues that is so much easier when we’re meeting in person.
Having a (few) people sharing some wine and nibbles in an (enormous) hall is still a rarity here, and the contrast to all the news at the moment of last year’s party in Number 10 during a time of tighter restrictions is rather stark…shambles!
A&N went out to see a film and I caught up on my email and planning for tomorrow
