The Brownie

Last week we were given Violet's new Brownie outfit so this evening was the first time that she could wear it!  Consisting of leggings, a t-shirt and a hoodie, it has certainly come a long way from the uniform that I wore, which consisted as I recall, of a long sleeved brown cotton dress, a leather belt and a beret.  A selection of badges where sewn to the dress and there must have been a yellow tie but I don't recall it.
It was hard as is so often, to get Violet to pose for a picture so this is the best of a very average bunch.  The original was rather too colourful as she insisted o standing in front of the Christmas tree, so I've opted for a mono version.
