Down To The Sea

This afternoon we walked from my flat, down the path at the back and under the road through the tunnel.

And we emerged right on the beach. It was pretty much deserted there with just a couple of cyclists and two dog walkers.

Turning right along the coastal path and over the bridge brought us to the ecological area which I mentioned a few days ago. A bit further and we would have been at Juan's, but I decided against putting the old legs to too much extra strain.

Still it was the furthest I've managed in a very long time and coming back wasn't too bad either.

It was the longest walk Duke has had for a few days too.
