Swan Lake

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess

Rod is over from Ireland for the week and we arranged to go for a walk around Arthur’s Seat.

There was a handful of tourists standing on the bank of Dunsapie Loch, admiring and videoing a swan which had come near the edge of the water. It was a lovely sight.

Right until Murphy went bounding over. There was actual squealing from the tourists although Murphy didn’t get closer than a couple of metres from the swan. He stopped in his tracks fairly sharpish when it spread its wings and hissed*.

Rod: “Pretty sure Murphy’s about to go viral.”

I might avoid the Queen for a while in case she’s on YouTube.

*I have no doubt that swan hissing would translate to very bad swearing!
