Wall Art - 292

This is a new one in the Govan district of Glasgow.   The title is 'Ahcumfigovin' which translated means 'I come from Govan'. 

It features a local footballer (soccer player) called Alex Ferguson who became even more famous as a football manager.  Now retired (his 80th birthday at the end of this month) and with the title Sir Alex Ferguson in recognition of all his sporting achievements.

The other picture features women from the area who worked in the local munitions factory carrying out a vital role in the war effort.

Its another very recent mural with the paint just drying!  Artists are Mandy and Frank Carty,
