Green parakeets

This morning I woke up with such a banging headache, which is not usual for me - it has persisted all day too so I have had a low key day as my head really hurts! 

I walked Xena slowly again in the woods, I am sure the fresh air did me the world of good, but no, it did not cure it,  despite that and paracetamol I still have a headache. 

The parakeets were on the feeders all morning again, being very cheeky with the squirrels as they fight over the food. The poor little birds have no chance! I took these through the window so they are not perfect.

Gavin has his Christmas party today - a dinner at a restaurant in London. They all have taken lateral flow tests, they are sitting at tables of 6,  and some who don't feel comfortable going are staying at home. It is a toss up for most companies whether to have a Christmas function or not, many desperately want something after the Covid sh*tstorm of the past two years and some are understandably nervous. These days it seems it's not a question of 'if I get Covid' but rather 'when I get Covid' and hopefully if fully vaccinated one hopes that you will be okay. 

I finally finished watching Close To Me, the drama on Ch4 - I though the acting by the female lead was pretty awful, and the main question was not who pushed her down the stairs, but rather, where did Christopher Eccleston get that horrible haircut?
