THE OTTER POND

It's Wide Wednesday and this view greeted me this morning on my way home from the gym. We had 4 inches (10cm) of fluffy snow last night.

The locals call this place The Otter Pond. I've no doubt otters were here in the past but I've not seen one here in my 55 years in the area. I have seen them six miles away in the Sheboygan Marsh so one day they might make it to the Otter Pond once again.
