Today I learned that my lovely German teacher who has been ill for a long time has finally passed away. It's not unexpected but it is very sad.

In happier news, my son has asked for a present for my granddaughter that probably means I can record stories for her! It's a Tonies Box and it comes with little figures that when set on the box tell a story - or you can set some of them to record your own stories and songs. He wants that for his Christmas present, which I'm happy to do.
