Boing .........

We've had our beloved and comfy sofa for around 18 years but lately it has been making funny noises from underneath.  Two very nice chaps from a sofa-fixing company came this morning and after inspection they found 3 broken springs and told us that the sofa was actually made in 1998, 23 years ago.  An hour and a half later the springs were replaced.  The chaps are also going to re-fill the seat cushions and give the sofa a deep clean.  Maybe it will then last another 23 years - and probably see us out!!
