Temple of Apollo and other things
Mixed up muddled up shook up sort of day in three parts. Part the first was a quiet morning at home, brief online tutoring, tidying up, getting ready to leave, and animal husbandry. Part the second was spent in Didim with Graham and Kat, included my first ever PCR test before flying on Friday, and then engaging full on with Turkish bureaucracy as Kat and I started the process of renewing our residence permits. Several seriously ugly biometric photos later the applications were complete as much as they can be at this point, many thanks to Sami whose wizarding skills in dealing with such matters are, well, unrivaled. Part the third was, after visiting the pet food shop to buy enough food for Harry in my absence, we went to a bar near the apollonTemple for a beer before spending the rest of the evening at My Bar for dinner. We finally brought this day to a close with a seasonal Amaretto in twinkling lights at Graham's where their Christmas tree lit up the room very festively.
