O Tannenbaum

O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum,
wie treu sind deine Blätter!
Du grünst nicht nur zur Sommerzeit,
Nein auch im Winter, wenn es schneit.

Etc etc. I normally wait until about 16th December to put up my tree but this year I thought, ‘why not’. Let’s enjoy it for longer. Each year, my daughter and I buy each other a decoration for the tree. So the tree is full of memories of places we have been and things we have done together.
