Dusk at Lyth Hill
We visited one of my cousins who was not able to come to our get together yesterday owing to suffering from Alzheimer’s. It’s so sad to see how she has changed since we saw her last. Her husband is a star, rising magnificently to the challenge despite being 85 and not enjoying the best of health himself.
Ian had cooked a us all a lunch and we had cheese and biscuits to follow. I hope we brought a little cheer and diversion for a few hours.
On the way back to Wellington we drove up to Lyth Hill to take in this view. It’s become a favourite of ours whatever the weather - and it was bleak and windy up there as dusk spread across the landscape.
