Black Five Steam Train

Out early for a little walk this morning as a Steam Train was due to travel through Benfleet on its' way from Southend to Oxford.  So I walked to the local park with my Dad to take up position on a path by the railway line. Unfortunately the sun was out so that screwed up the lighting, and my camera made everything look so dark and zoomed in too close so have had to some editing to make anything look half decent! So annoying! But still lovely to see! And I'm sure my Dad couldn't think of a better way to spend his birthday than standing in the cold waiting for a train to fly by in 10 seconds LOL!  But we did get to watch the herons and egrets in the creek while we waited!

And the tumble dryer saga continued with the 3rd engineer making a visit today, another repair job and within half an hour of him leaving it is doing the same as before, stopping the timer at 10 and overheating.... aarrggghhh!! Do not ever buy Hoover!!  Theydon't make things like they used to do they?! ggrrrr
