Remember the old light strings with individual bulbs? Chasing down faulty or loose bulbs that caused parts of the set to go off (was that circuits wired in parallel?). And the wee box of spare bulbs, ending up with three the same colour adjacent one another… and hoping they’d not fault before Christmas. And then there was the fire risk…..

Didn’t venture out today.
