The Bat House

Bats make good neighbors, for the obvious reasons. This Bat House was put up a couple of years ago, in the 'correct' location, at the 'perfect' height and facing the 'suggested' direction. All of the above words mean absolutely nada to the bats of course. In this case, you can 'build it' but that doesn't guarantee that the furry little winged creatures of the night will move in. Checking to see if it's occupied would involve a very tall ladder and since it's not on my property, that's probably not the best plan.
