Longannet no more…..

At Culross this morning to watch the demolition of the Longannet chimney. ( See JohnD’s blip.) We were sad to see it go as it has featured on many of our blips. We could see it from where we live but a photo at that distance would have been impossible.

The sunrise was a real bonus as we waited in the cold! Quite a few folk turned up to see the demolition. On the way home we had a police escort and wondered who was in the vicinity. Nicola pressed the button at Longannet…….

We listened to Radio Scotland on the way home. Boris was under attack by Alastair Campbell who said he was two faced.A listener phoned in saying he was a right one to talk as he had more faces than Big Ben!!
