Journey to Eden..

You may not be aware of this, but for 30 years we lived and worked in Hertfordshire, 20 miles N of London, 2 miles from the motorway, and 6 miles from Luton Airport. I don't regret living there, but when G was made redundant the time came to move on, we were always going to come to Scotland. Things just happened a bit quicker than we expected. I'm not regretting that either.

Here I am, working on the croft, planting the Jerusalem Artichokes that arrived in the post today. This area has been under cultivation before, but not for some time, I've sprayed it off, and the soil is in really good condition. The patch to the right is where I planted 30 rhubarb plants a few weeks back, but you can't see them too well yet..

So the big question, do I prefer this view, or Luton Airport? Just give me a millisecond to choose!..
