In the Griffin Inn

I spent much of today in Sainsbury's seeking ingredients for my Christmas cake. No mixed fruit nor mixed peel to be found. My cake will be rich in prunes and cranberries.

The car passed its MOT which was a relief. Len and I celebrated with coffee and cake at the Baobab Café just across the road from Sainsbury's. The Griffin Inn is opposite the café.

I cooked half the Savoy cabbage this evening. A tray bake with potatoes, garlic, onion and butter. We both enjoyed it.
