Brrr!

Gosh it was chilly today! 35F/1.6C this morning. And rain on and off all day...a cold, slushy rain this morning. But there were some beautiful sun breaks although it remained very chilly. I picked up my 4 year-old grandson this morning - I take care of him every Thursday while the rest of his family is busy with jobs and school. We had a grand time - he's getting to be more and more fun! 

Botanical garden work this afternoon, with a break for quick pics in the garden during a sun break. The ornamental kale always looks so jewel-like covered with raindrops. And I was surprised to see the geranium blooming (extra) in the potting shed where it's living for the winter. It's a bit iffy, temperature wise, but clearly it's not suffering a bit!
