A beautiful day for a walk

Seeing as the boss was in work today and i was off i decided to go for a walk to see what was around down the Alt-yr-yn nature reserve. Its only a small reserve but i wanted to see if the kingfisher i saw last year was still around. After spending over a hour down the reserve, sitting, waiting and watching it didnt seem that i was going to see anything. So i decided to call it a day there, so off home i went.

After watching some tv i decided to go for a walk along the Sirhowy valley. It was such a beautiful day it would of been wasted had i stayed inside. So i grabbed all my camera gear and set out. I dont walk along this valley and river often enough, but i am still trying to see some activity along the river, and today was no different. It seemed that even all the birds were avoiding me. Never the less, it was a lovely walk and now i am home feeling very sleepy.
