Freeze on the Beach

Took dad to Merry Hatton today and met up with Bill. A thoroughly depressing occasion, as dad complains about everything, mostly his health. In fact he's doing fairly well for an 86-year-old but he wants to know why the doctors don't 'cure him'. Dad, it's old age; it's cruel and it's unfair, but if you don't spend less time moaning about it, you're going to spend it alone.

Anyhow, I drove home via Portobello, which was heaving with Easter families and absolutely freezing. Here is a lassie enjoying a freezing walk on the beach.
