Lavender . . .

. . .  is meant to 'provide colour from early summer into autumn';  it is December, nearly mid-December and where I am staying with Max, the lavender is still blooming! I know it is up against a wall so gets some reflected heat, but it has no protection from either the side or front! 
Poor nature - really is struggling to decide what season is what.
Had a pleasant swim/pool exercise today before a short wander with Max - blowy out, but dry, which pleased us both!
