Dog rose

We have had sun all day but it has been bitterly cold because of the wind. Been busy,housework, shopping etc and didn't get out for a walk til late afternoon. However, chose this blip from the rest, as it shows signs of new life and where I took it, it was sheltered from the wind and quite warm! I also like the dog rose and the fact that this shot shows the ploughed field and the old broken branches in this hedgerow.
The forecasters are promising its going to get warmer after the weekend, hope they're right!
