Berries that the birds don’t want

After enjoying a pre Christmas coffee, chat and exchange of presents I took a very hasty trip to the loch hoping to find something for my blip today.

Just beside the water sports centre there is a hedge made almost entirely of Willow-leaved Cotoneaster and there are still great clumps of red berries which the birds have left untouched.

It was quite icy in places by the loch so I didn’t go too far just in case!
