Past Times

Community Choir day today, but first I had to go for my dental treatment.  As I was waiting for my second bus this old double decker pulled up to take a group of people on a "Yesteryears" tour.  I used to travel on buses like these - the open door at the back was very useful if you were late and could run fast enough to jump on as the bus was pulling away!  The dentist was totally different to the last time I was there - really nice, and I feel more confident about returning now.  She even did some extra work for "cosmetic reasons", although the extra Covid restrictions entail wearing a crazy shield which makes you feel like Hannibal Lechter!  Unfortunately it also restricts the view of the mouth and at one point when polishing she caught my lip and I now have a very sore blister!  No pain during the treatment though - phew!  Back next week for more!
