D72 through Business Bay

(10/12/21 - Still watching Alicia Keys at EXPO 2020!)

G didn't have to go to school today giving us a free morning. I had ideas of what we could do, but they might have been impractical, so we ended up driving to Jebel Ali to visit my Dad's grave. It's his birthday tomorrow, but today is the better day to visit. As we are now in a hire car, we had to avoid all the toll roads, so saw things we wouldn't normally see.

My blip is taken on Al Asayel Street as we rode through Business Bay. You get some great views on this road. I must drive on it with the dashcam on.

We dropped the hire car back in the evening, sadly not before getting our car back. The catalytic converter hasn't worked, and the parts guy doesn't have anything else at the moment, so he suggested getting the car back while he hunts around. Khalid has agreed to this but can only hand the car back tomorrow. At least I didn't have to organise another hire car for an uncertain length of time.
