Timber
I left home at 7.20am this morning and walked down to the beach hoping to get another pink sky but it was very uneventful and I just got cold, there was quite a chilly wind blowing. I then went to do a necessary supermarket shop. How lovely to have so much choice after having a very limited stock of items we were able to buy on our island in the Canaries. Then after lunch we decided to go and have a look to see how the river restoration project had progressed since we last looked about four weeks ago. They have made a lot of progress with the new road they are building and they have dug out new water channels with an excavator. We then decided to walk along the river to Otterton where we saw some trees had blown down in the recent storm and others had been knowledgeable by the resident beavers as shown in the main blip and extras. Presumably they will return to finish the job but these are fairly large trees for the beavers to move for their dam constructions,
