They were here - 3c

The twilight descended in Näsinpuisto and the area between Tallipiha and Milavida is illuminated by the magical figures of Alexander Reichstein: "They were here"

It was like the Nottbecks, the owners of Finlayson cotton mill, would have been brought into ghost-like figures for a walk into their own garden among us.

The Nottbecks lived in Tampere from the 1830s until the early 20th century, when the last members of the family left the city after years filled with both success and sad losses. Here is a story of the beautiful Milavida and the sad story of family Nottbeck, if you're interested

The atmosphere is complemented by a soundscape composed of music from different eras. The exhibition is part of the Tampere illumination weeks program.

I made only a short walk in opening of this exhibition. The weather has turned very warm, it was - 3c only in the evening.

Nice that it is Friday! Have a great weekend, all!
