Fish on Friday
A day mostly spent catching up on correspondence, and listening to the unfolding story of last December's shenanigans in Downing Street and other government offices. What else is yet to be revealed, and how will it end??
However, a more uplifting aspect of the day was watching a new TV programme about Grayson Perry's Art Club, and the installation in the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, of his, and other artists' work all created during, and in response, to lockdown. The exhibition has just opened, and will remain there until September 2022. Sounds like a good reason for visiting Bristol again.
My photo is of my husband cooking cod in lemon sauce for our supper tonight. I am really amazed by the camera on my new phone; this was taken with the "food mode" , which popped up when I pointed the phone camera towards the frying pan! How did it know?
I must confess I am sure many of the features on the phone are completely wasted on me, as I can't find out where they are, and what they do. Oh, to be forty years younger!
