A Christmas Concert

To the Royal Holloway Chapel this evening for a concert of Christmas music performed by the excellent Royal Holloway Choir accompanied by the Brandenburg Symphonia. Royal Holloway is a constituent college of the University of London and was founded in 1879 as a college for women only by the Victorian entrepreneur, Thomas Holloway. Its grand buildings are modelled on  a French chateau and are located on the A30 at Egham. The college has long since admitted both male and female students and the choir is a 24 strong mixed choir of some renown. Choral evensong will be broadcast from the Chapel on Radio 3 next Tuesday.
