Black Rock Gorge
This gorge is narrow enough, that it looks like you could jump it. But deep enough that the consequences of a slip would be dire.
The gorge is a 100 foot deep crack, running 1.5km through the old red sandstone conglomerate. It is quite difficult to get a good view of it as the wooded slopes are steep, but there are two footbridges that cross it. The photographer here is chancing his life on a sturdy tree as the Allt Graad burn thunders in the cleft below.
