Christmas Cake

A perfect day for baking the Christmas Cake….Doug in charge.  He did a fine job, and it is now out, drizzled with sherry and wrapped in thick towels. Smells delicious.  We make the same cake every year - Pineapple Christmas Cake, always guaranteed to be moist and tasty.
A wet day, getting very sick of this un-summer-like weather.
My mouth is much better today, but still a bit niggly, nothing that a couple of Panadols can’t fix.  Thanks for your thoughts.
