Shop

I took the day off today and went into town to have hair done and to do some Christmas shopping.  It was cold and crisp and after leaving the hairdresser in Holland Park I went into Liberty, bought a couple of presents and thought I’d go home early but would first of all just go to the Margaret Howell shop in Wigmore St in Marylebone. 

Oh dear. It is always such an inspirational shop and I used to buy her clothes at her biannual sample sale but being in the actual shop I did succumb.  

London is so empty it was hard to believe that it is a fortnight before Christmas. The new work from home rules have taken a wrecking ball to next week’s plans but let’s see how much I manage to hang on to.  

Home for supper and the lacerating penultimate episode of Succession.  Rory has tested positive but managed at least to get home.
