Human Rights Day!

We had a ‘Wear Festive Accessories Day’ at school today, to raise awareness of and money for Amnesty International. I have to say, wonderful as they are, my Year 11 form are not what anyone would call particularly ‘festive’ but the teachers did themselves proud!

My previous favourite school has asked the agency if I can do a fairly long-term placement with them in the new year but I’ve also - intriguingly - been asked to continue at my current school after the holidays, even if the teacher I’m covering for comes back. I’ve had a few emails thanking me for the great work I’ve done so far and also a fairly odd conversation with the headteacher, who’s very nice, asking me what my future plans are.

Unfortunately, much as I love it, my ‘future plans’ definitely no longer include teaching.
