Blea Tarn

A tougher walk than I thought but well worth the effort. Its a shame I can't share more of the photos here.

Getting through snow around tarn is dangerous with the first of five falls, all minor happening as I took what I thought was my last step on snow before reaching a grass section, foot when down through snow and went up to my knee before I knew it. The last fall was when I was negotiating the "path" back down. This raised a huge laugh from me as a sign by the road proclaimed this "path" as a "Bridleway"! I think not!

I think I might go for a boat ride tomorrow :-)
