At last

So today Gordon got his birthday present - only about 3 months late!

He and his daughter went to Leith’s School of Food and Wine and spent the day learning about and making stocks and sauces. Apparently it was very professionally done, they learnt a lot and really enjoyed it. They are now looking for another course to go on in the new year!

I have used one of their photos as the blip because I did nothing more interesting than spending time in the British Library (see extra).

We are now chilling (they say they need a rest!) in the lovely reception area of the Premier Inn (a glass of wine might be involved) before setting out to meet up with Greg at a French restaurant they know. I think two of our group might be looking closely at any sauces that appear.
