Windsor illuminations.

Mr C and Lucy met after school. Only the 20 minute journey took an hour due to an accident.  Mr C parked up and they jumped into my car.  We planned to get to Rebecca’s and grab something to eat somewhere before heading off to Windsor. However, there was another accident on the A3 so I went down some country lanes to get on at the next junction. Blow me there was an accident there too but once we cleared it , it was ok.  In the meantime, Bex had booked a table at Bills. 

Josh and his new girlfriend, also called Natalie!!!, met us at Windsor. Luckily, the rain eased off as we walked around.  Booking the 8pm slot was great as there was very few people and we really enjoyed it although we should have worn wellies as it was a woodland walk.

I then had to drive back to drop Rebecca off and the rain had turned really heavy.  3 lanes on the M3 were closed for roadworks, surface water was awful and I was getting tired. I dropped Rebecca home and then drove and dropped Mr C off at school to pick up his car and to top it off the police had closed the A3. I’m not sure why and eventually they let us through. We got home about 11.30 and I was exhausted…. But the illuminations were fab (extra collage).
