A day for waterfalls

We travelled across to the Lakes for a weeks stay. Having a birthday close to Christmas it is good to do something different. It is always a risk with the weather but a change of scenery really gives me a boost.  

We had hoped eldest son Stephen would be able to join us. However the Omicron virus had other plans and he now has to isolate for 10 days. On the plus side he should be okay for Christmas. Hopefully his double vaccination and previous infection will mean he is not too badly affected. He tells me that fatigue has kicked in. 

Had a short waterfall walk in the rain before the light went. Definitely a good day to see plenty of water tumbling down the hillside.
