More Snow, almost rain

I think we got away with it. The last of the precipitation has moved off to the north and though it got very close to rain, got a little sleety for an hour or so, it stayed as snow in the end.  Now the forecast promises us colder, and then warmer weather, but no more precipitation for the next few days. Hooray!
This track, running down to the lake, is getting narrower as the bushes are weighed down by the wet snow, and leaning into the space.
I spent 2 or 3 hours clearing snow today, and being so close to zero degrees it was really wet and heavy. Now my shoulders are aching slightly and I feel pretty drained of beans after shifting a lot of show.  But it's a satisfying ache and feels good that the veranda roof behind Betty's, and the porch roofs for our house and The Red House are cleared, and won't be collapsing. I also dug out down to the cellar, a task made more difficult because all the snow slid of our roof in the night and blocked the door to the cellar!  The white gym...
